Parking  There are meters in the centre of the road - 9am-8pm 7 days, e.g. £1.30 for 2 hours.  There is a very reasonable cost to park all day. There is also an NCP car park – at the top of Fourth Avenue, just into Norton Road on the left (3 minutes walk). 
 
By Train  You can arrive at Hove train station. There is no bus from Hove station. From London, you can catch a train from Victoria or London Bridge or other stations. The journey usually takes an hour and it takes about 
12 minutes to walk from Hove station.  You could also arrive at Brighton station and take the No. 6 bus to Hove Town Hall from outside the station or a taxi. Come out of the station and walk straight down Goldstone Villas. At the T-junction, you can go straight down George Street (pedestrian shopping street slightly to the right) and then turn left onto Church Road.  Fourth Avenue is a few streets along on the right.  The building, a redbrick Edwardian villa, is about ¾ of the way down towards the sea on the left. 
 
By Bus    Local buses run between Brighton and Hove Town Hall (at the top of Fourth Ave). They run along Church Road/Western Road. Buses 1, 2, 5, 5A, 5B, 6, 46, 49

National Express  Cheaper but slower long distance buses from London Victoria Bus Station and other cities to Pool Valley, Brighton. You then need to catch a bus or walk for half an hour along the seafront.  Fourth Avenue is at the end of Hove Lawns, i.e. the grass behind the beach huts.
